SS interviewed several stakeholders in Jordan in 2019, including the now Vice President of Customer Success of a recruitment firm in Saudi Arabia, about how technology is affecting hiring and managers’ decisions.
SS conducted deep, formative, but sporadic, fieldwork from 2014 to 2019 spanning Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and Saudi Arabia about the state of social sciences. The consulting covered:
1) Number of institutions offering social sciences
2) What social sciences a given institution offers
3) If the institution confers any graduate degrees in the respective social sciences,
4) The subjects or themes the social sciences covered, and
5) The quality and training of practitioners and social scientists.
